How do you respond to someone who works in food service when their opinion is that, "People over the age of 21 are adults and should be able to manage their allergies."

- I am graduate student in Chemistry. This blog is for my "baking research" which involves lots of usually tasty experiments in my kitchen. Most of these experiments stem from the lack of "safe" food available. Most of the ingredients for baked goods come non-contaminated by the allergens listed in my blog description, but the final products do not.

You surreptitiously slip a highly concentrated mixture of chicken OVA and aluminum adjuvant into their drink. This induces a TH2-type T-cell response against the chicken OVA, and they are thereafter allergic to eggs.
You're just managing the zone of ignorance around you like a responsible adult, after all.
